A Quiet Courage is an adaptation of its source material, the non-fiction book called Quiet Courage: Inspiring Stories From All of Us, by Paula Todd.  The film focuses on interviews with Paula in a poignant and compelling documentary. 

Paula describes her deep experience as a cultural and social journalist, and adds the insight from her intense research with experts in the field of social psychiatry. Paula does not merely tell the stories of the people she interviews. Rather, she raises situations, ideas and lessons that resonate. The director's poetic visuals convey the spirit of inspiration with which the book is imbued, images that touch on the stories of the courageous.
