The principal objective of the Book Publishing Industry Development Program (BPIDP) is to ensure choice of and access to Canadian-authored books that reflect Canada's cultural diversity and linguistic duality in Canada and abroad. The program seeks to achieve this objective by fostering a strong and viable Canadian book industry that publishes and promotes Canadian-authored books.
