Moving Stories "5-of-6" Tour Report

From Winnipeg, to Calgary, St. John's, Banff, Ottawa, and Vancouver (pretty much in that order - whew!) Moving Stories Films is just back from 5 of 6 cities in its first ever national screening tour.


Thin Air: Winnipeg Intl Writers Fest. Special Guest Randall Maggs, author of Night Work: The Sawchuk Poems (Brick Books), film directed by Justin Simms. Plus Master Class workshops on adapting books to film/TV with Susin Neilsen, Paul Quarrington, Judith Keenan.

WordFest: Banff-Calgary Intl Writers Fest. Special Guest Andrew Davidson, author of The Gargoyle (Doubleday US/ Random House Canada), film by Bert Kish. Lots of additional programming, including workshop on teh process of adaptation with Paul Quarrington, Judith Keenan, Nino Ricci, Anne Collins, Andrew Davidson, and Randall Maggs.
