THE VOLUME ONE PROJECT TAKES FLIGHT
Chris Reed and Natalie Kertes of Small Print launched THE VOLUME ONE PROJECT, a new workshop series for writers between 8-12 years old, at Humber College on Sunday November 22, 2009.The Test Pilot session featured YA author Natalie Ghent and illustrator Evan Munday. Four young scribes (Bronwyn Cragg, Noam Flear, Sophia Jantzi and Sophie Chase) worked with Ghent and Muncday and created their very own books. What did they write about?
A Toronto man named Bob who skydives off the CN Tower only to crash into the spaceship of an Anarchist Alien from the planet I-Don't-Know. Future installments of The Volume One Project are planned fro early 2010. Stay tuned for details.
