Lynn Rosen Named Director of Graduate Publishing Programs Rosemont College

Rosemont, PA- Lynn Rosen, of Philadelphia, has been appointed Director of Graduate Publishing Programs at Rosemont College. An accomplished educator, writer, and editor, Rosen has published three books and has over twenty-five years of publishing experience. Most recently, Rosen has taught at Temple and Drexel Universities and has been active in organizing publishing and reading events in the Philadelphia region.

“Lynn is a stellar addition to our graduate program,” said Judith Rényi, Ph.D., Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies at Rosemont College. “She brings a great deal of talent and expertise to the College, and her leadership will ensure the continuing success of our students and faculty.”

In her new post, Rosen will be responsible for ensuring the curricular quality of existing programs, the development of new programs, and the success of recruitment, admissions, and student retention initiatives.

As an editor, Rosen has worked with publishers of adult trade non-fiction and illustrated gift books. She is the author of Elements of the Table: A Simple Guide for Host and Guests (Clarkson Potter) and the co-author of The Baby Owner’s Games and Activities Book, The Baby Owner’s Maintenance Log (Quirk Books), as well as several gift books and journals. Rosen has written freelance articles for the Book Review and the Home & Design sections of the Philadelphia Inquirer, and has written legal profiles for Young Lawyer and General Counsel Mid-Atlantic. She received an honors Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Arts degree from Columbia University.
